The BTA-30 Calibration Kit comes with a Hand Simulator,
Alcohol Solution, Temperature Chart with instructions
and a PowerPoint Presentation on how to calibrate the
Breathalyser.
Fill the Hand Simulator with 150ml of the provided
alcohol solution. Check the temperature chart and
thermometer in the Simulator to see what the expected
reading is. Place the Simulator mouth piece in the
sample port, pump the aspirator bulb 10 times and press
the manual inject button. When the reading has stopped
counting adjust the Calibration pot to the desired
reading. Repeat test two more times to ensure the
correct calibration has been obtained.
