The
Alcovisor Mark X personal breathalyser uses Fuel Cell
Technology (like the police) to measure the
concentration of alcohol vapor on expired breath. The
Mark X is extremely easy to operate, simply press the
“On/Off” button on the side of the unit, attach a
mouthpiece and blow. The reading will then be displayed.
The main advantage of the Mark X is the use of the Fuel
Cell. Fuel Cell’s are used in industrial breath
analysers to give RELIABLE and ACCURATE results! Most
personal breathalysers use Semi-conductor type sensors
which do not give consistent results and only have a
short life span.
ADT can calibrate the Mark X as per the requirements of
the customer. We recommend 6 monthly calibrations on
units used 2-3 times per week. If the unit is being
using in social situations where a lot of people are
using the Mark X calibration should be more frequent.
The Mark X is the perfect instrument for conducting
personal breath tests morning or night. Don’t get caught
drink driving on your way home from the pub or on your
way to work in the morning, the Mark X can help you
determine whether you are over the limit or whether your
BAC (Blood Alcohol Concentration) is rising or falling.
Most people don’t realize if you wake up hung over there
is most likely alcohol still in your system. This is why
the police have RBT’s setup at 8 o’clock in the morning,
not to catch people who like to have a beer with
breakfast but to catch people with alcohol still in
their system from the night before.
